Competitors shelves Svindal: – Seems unbeatable – NRK

Svindal has won five of the six speed races he has lined up in this season. Saturday he was once again superb, as he took his 11th downhill victory at the World Cup.

– On a side should he hailed with the biggest words found. On another side is where we want to be, so I think he’s pretty calm yourself, says Kjetil Jansrud, who has been beaten by his buddy in all speed races this season.

Svindal has already equaled season best when it comes to World Cup results. For 32-year-old has never won more than five World Cup races during one season. It is no wonder that there is one particular man competition fears – and shelves.

– He’s a machine

– He has started seasons well earlier too, but right now he seems unbeatable, says today’s fifth husband, Canadian Erik Guay.

– Today we say BRAVO, Aksel – again. I am happy to be caught between he and Sheila, says Guillermo Fayed, who took second place Saturday.

Jansrud believe it hardly possible to put it into words Svindal makes a day. But he and many others, revel in the compliments.

– He makes it look easy, but it is not easy. It’s crazy, he said.

– He’s a machine. Absolutely wild. It’s just taking off his hat and everything, says Aleksander Aamodt Source.

– Aksel is crazy! He has won five times this year. It is wild. Have a lot of confidence and even if he makes mistakes, he is very fast. Faster than before in fact, says Italian Peter Fill, laughing.

Will quotation

when Svindal drove to victory in the first downhill event in Lake Louise, it was designated as another meaty comeback. With the exception of the World Championships in February, he was injured all last season.

– He’s back hungrier and more determined than ever, says Guay.

– He has come back at an incredibly good way, turning Fayed fixed.

– What to do to beat him?

– Well, wait that he gets sick? Ha-ha. No, i do not know. We must see a lot of pictures of him, and imitate. It is well only option, says Fayed.

Svindal, going straight to Alta Badia and giant slalom race Sunday, admits he enjoys the success and explains it as follows:

– I is well prepared. And physically very good. After the comeback, I’m more relaxed, and you’re more relaxed between beats, it is more energy when it slams. I bet that it floats until March!
