Stöckl showed off Norway’s most talked-hop belly – Dagbladet.no

GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN (Dagbladet): I hop environment has been known for a while. And in recent days has jump national team coach Alexander Stöckl (42) and his partner Ina Bergmann (34) have been prepared to make it more public: In late March they become parents for the first time.

– Exciting and a little scary. It will be a big change. Many people say to us that life is turned upside down. But we are looking forward, says Bergmann.

New Year’s Eve came the Austrian paired together to jumpers’ celebration in German Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Both beamed and looked forward to the rally with the rest of jumps family hotel Mercure.

– We’ve thought of many different names. But we are not agreed, says Bergmann, who is nutritionist and coach. And just like Stöckl impresses her with his Norwegian.

The birth coincides with the season finale of the World Cup. Stöckl has 200 travel days a year and admits that this can present challenges.

– It’s all about good conversations, emphasizing Bergmann.

– Does it become a ski jumper?

– We do not know yet, smiling couple. Whether there will be a boy or girl is currently a little secret.



– Fin relaxation

Sports Director Clas Brede Braathen looked forward to a small gathering before the important New Year’s ski jumping in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is the second competition in the Four Hills Tournament. Then the trip continues to Innsbruck and Bischofshofen.

– A very nice relaxation in a hectic week, says Bråthen about New Year celebration.

– What do you think about the new situation to Stöckl?

– It is nothing but positive. That there will be a new world citizen is one of the greatest miracles that can happen. I’ve even been lucky enough to experience it four times.

Bråthen continues:

– They have much nice to look forward to. It’s going to strengthen their relationship. And it’s going to strengthen their relationship with Norway.
