Shouted “fucking gypsy”: – It is not the way we want in Norwegian hockey – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): During hockey match between Stavanger Oilers and Vålerenga last night, sent VIF player Tallak Lyngsa some ugly vocabulary in direction Oilers’ Philippe Cornet.

A clip published by TV 2 clearly shows that Tallak Lyngsa serving words “fucking homo “and” damn gypsy “in English.

Reviewer case

– Generally speaking, it is not as we would like to have it in Norwegian hockey. We have zero tolerance for harassment, says Ottar Eide, secretary general of the Ice Hockey Federation, told Dagbladet.

He said that the Stavanger Oilers now have to consider whether they should send a review of associated and that the matter would then be taken further. Later Tuesday they choose to report to the disciplinary committee itself:

– We have looked into the matter, and now making a review of the disciplinary committee, says Ottar Eide said.

The National Associations have this afternoon decided to report the case. It confirms connected in a press release.

Vålerenga coach, Espen” Shampoo “Knutsen, tells Dagbladet that he has talked with Tallak Lyngstad, who is upset.

– He has seen what he has done, and is sorry for what he did. There is nothing he stands in for at all. He is very upset and wish he had not said it, says VIF coach.

Furthermore, he says that he thinks it is good that the matter has been reported on.

– We Vålerenga think it is good, for such cases must be taken seriously, says “Shampoo.”
