Tom Hilde has two third places in the Four Hills Tournament, but did not get the chance to improve it. Asker-jumper was scrapped in favor of COC-hopping Halvor Egner Granerud.

Hilde has shown better stroke than ever at the start of the winter season, but fall victim to national coach Alexander Stockl quota system. Austrian offers standard quota space from Continental Cup for the jumper that has secured it.
