Oftedal about mistake: – Had been “Merry Christmas and thank you for me” – VG

HERNING (AP) Captain Stine Bredal Oftedal (24) feared that she had broken the semifinals when she first goofed violently out, and so was expelled seconds later.

– I saw her simply do not, and I was supposed to calm down. So I threw the ball straight to her. That’s what happens, and she did it deliberately. Next time I see her, promising a relieved Oftedal.

– What did you think where you had to sit and watch the drama from the side?

– I thought get the ball into the goal. Fix this, please! says 24-year-old.

Heidi Løke scored five goals and fought as usual like a lion in defense. She was rewarded with the official man of the match prize and got 8 on VG exchange – the same as Oftedal.

– Although there was extra time, so I’m pretty quiet out there. I felt so sure we were going to take it when we first got extra innings. We have such a well-trained team, and receives in return for all the work, says Løke VG.

She even got kudos from Olympiatoppen for his good form and super powers came in handy when it was to be determined. 33-year-old struck two of the eight goals in extra-time.

– And it was the extra time thanks to the rescue to her here – I said she was going to be good, says Løke and bumping into goalie Kari Aalvik Grimsbø who saved a Romanian shutdown four seconds before normal time score 27-27.

Sunday night is the Netherlands which is the last hurdle for Norway to take World Championship gold. Løke Finalist four years ago when it was gold in Brazil, while Oftedal had to watch it from the stands after being rejected from the team before the semifinal.

Against the Netherlands are the two key players guaranteed with.
