Henrik won the scandal flows: – Life could be lost – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Henrik Kristoffersen (21) drove down to victory in the slalom race in Madonna di Campiglio in the evening. The Norwegian cheered wildly, and took his career sixth win in the World Cup.

– There are alpine history, screamed NRK commentators Andreas Toft and Trond Moger.

But the race was a scandal: foremost competitor Marcel Hirscher was hit by a drone when he drove down that penultimate man.

– Life could have been lost, screamed Toft on the fly.

– This is going to get after games.

Led large

Kristoffersen headed wide after the first half. Down to the Austrian Marcel Hirscher was 1.03 seconds. Further 20 hundredths he had on the Italian Stefano Gross.

A lot had to go wrong about Kristoffersen should not hold the position for the second half. The last man of 30 starting trail would pose challenges. But Kristoffersen kept his cool and drove into the best time.

In super form

Gross failed as the first challenger in third place after the first half. He made several errors in the floodlight, and drove down to the time 1.40,70.

Before night race in Italy had Kristoffersen won five World Cup races. 14 times he had been on the podium. He is in super form before Christmas. Sunday he came second in the giant slalom race in Alta Badia.

Kristoffersen is in fourth place in the overall World Cup.

Also, Aksel Lund Svindal and Kjetil Jansrud has got a cannon start to the World Cup, and is among the top nations.
