Austrian double victory. Fannemel best Norwegian – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): After several postponements yesterday, could the first competition in the Four Hills Tournament finally be held today.

None of the Norwegian impressed greatly, but all six took on to the final round.

Anders Fannemel became best Norwegian with a 6th place, but north man was still far away from a victory.

Peter Prevc unable to beat Michael Hayboeck, who led then Slovenian put off as the penultimate man. Stefan Kraft was the only one left on top. Kraft never before won a World Cup coped with the pressure, and jumped to victory.



Content Sea

Anders Jacobsen was the first among the Norwegian. Honefoss man landed on 126.5 meters. It kept to a 16th place. In his second jump he hit two meters and ended in 14th place.

Johann Other Forfang were very unlucky with the conditions and reached only 111 meters.

A little better went in there in his jumps. Laminitis reached 119 meters in its second Four Hills hops.

For debutant Phillip Sea, it went much better. 128.5 meters reached 19-year-old, who lay on a 15th place halfway.

– I think I solve tasks quite well, said Sea on his first jump to NRK .

The debutant Sea reached 127 meters in his second jump, and smiled after the debut was done and 12th place secured.



Bardal disappointed

South- Korea Seou Choi was Anders Bardal duellant initially. He just jumped 110.5 meters.

Anders Bardal had few problems taking further, but Steinkjer man could only extend to 122 meters.

– Not good enough unfortunately, said Bardal.

In the second half, he reached 124 meters. Thus he ended in 21st place place.






Ammann fell

World Cup leader Anders Fannemel and Rune Velta also took on to final round. The former was the best of the Norwegian with a seventh place.

The longest jumps came not surprising at the end of the half. No longer jumped Peter Prevc. Slovenian reached entire 139.5 meters. Austrians Stefan Kraft reached 136.5 meters and led halfway.

Finishes Gens’s bomb stood Simon Ammann for. Swiss fell 133 meters. 33-year-old stood up quickly. NRK expert Johan Remen Evensen said Ammann should have been participated in the 2nd half, but the Swiss never came on the boom.

When Kraft delivered on top as the last man out, he won by 6.9 points.
