 Would not play

He created anyway headlines when it became clear that he would not play series match against parent club of respect for the fans and the club.

It was also speculated that he would drop the semifinals of the Cup against Molde same reason, but it was rejected.

Midtbaneeleganten played then also semifinals, which Stabæk lost 0-1 at Nadderud after a late goal by Mohamed Elyounoussi.

It was earlier this fall also clear that he was not going to continue his career under Bob Bradley and Stabæk.

 - The door is now closed. We have negotiated with the player, but we stood far apart. There is no point wasting time on such things, when it is almost impossible to get to, said sports director in Stabæk Inge André Olsen Budstikka earlier this fall, when it became clear that Magne Hoseth would not continue on Nadderud.

 Brief

 - For Vikings part And is not this a momentary signing, we see well all that Magne Hoseth hardly has a five-year perspective in the elite series. But considering that we have a fairly thin and young squad of players, this is a very good growth. In a group with many young players aged 20-22 years layer, it is good to get a player with Magnes experience. Moreover, he is a profile in Norwegian football. A player who many believe something about, in both positive and negative sense. I know Magne from the time in Molde, and know that we now have a player who can cover several positions. Also it is useful, says Viking coach Kjell Jonevret, according Aftenbladet .
