Men choose football front pinnekjøtt and ribs – Adresseavisen

A recent survey shows that many Norwegians, especially men, would rather watch football than go to a Christmas visit.

It is YouGov who conducted the study on behalf of Electronic Arts and FIFA 15. It shows that one in four men would dropped Christmas dinner in favor of watching football.

– Only one of four ?, chuckles Trond Fuhre. He is chair of Supporter Union for British Football (SBF).

– If it is like that that one in four will drop dinner for football on Christmas Eve, it sounds a lot like. But one thinks well here on Boxing Day (2nd Christmas Day) which is an important game day in English football, says Fuhre to Bergens Tidende.

Birmingham supporter has even given straightforward message to its nearest what applies for him 2. Christmas Day.

– 2. Christmas Day is my Christmas Eve, and so I think there are too many. Man has free and are often collected and it runs many games. It’s good to get away with visit just this day, and for my own part, I have gained acceptance on it. Then use one course Tactful rest of Christmas and with what is said Fuhre.

Lying to see match

The survey has several interesting findings:

  • 30 percent of those between 18 and 34 years would prioritize playing FIFA above to see a concert with Sølvguttene.
  • 46 percent of all men experience a real grief when your favorite team loses a match.
  • On the question of the choice between sex and football, answer 36 percent of that they would rather set your favorite team play a cup final than taking a round in the bin.
  • 21 percent of all respondents Men believes football is a kind of religion. 10 percent of women think the same.
  • 17 percent of men say that they once or repeatedly lied to see their favorite team play a match. 10 percent of women answering the same.

Trond Fuhre in Supporter Union is clear that English football has had and still has a lot to say for Norwegians.

– This Survey shows well just what we know, that we Norwegians are addicted to English football. You notice it well when landslagsuke and abstinences come, saith Fuhre.
