Hang’s manager got fired – Aftenposten

Neil Warnock the first Premier League manager to have to go this season.

After just one win in their last ten matches, Neil Warnock finished as Crystal Palace manager.

It confirms the club on its website Saturday afternoon.

– Crystal Palace Football Club can today confirm that Neil Warnock is released from their duties and is no longer the manager of the club teams. The club will take this opportunity to thank Neil for his efforts and energy in the last four months, sounds the short message.

First out

It is Keith Millen who manage Palace in London- derby against QPR Sunday, said the club.

66-year-old Warnock has failed to give the team the boost hoped after he took over. Instead is made finishing third in the Premier League after a 3-1 defeat to Southampton 2. Christmas Day.

Warnock is the first manager in the Premier League as being fired this season.

The highlight Warnock was victory against Liverpool in November.

Veteran Warnock took on period two as manager in the London club when Tony Pulis surprisingly resigned as manager just before the season begins.

It was Tony Pulis who fetched Brede Hangeland to the club after north man was practically thrown out the door in Fulham, after the club were relegated from the Premier League this spring.

Three managers at half season

Pulis was a popular man among Palace fans, having led the team into a strong 11th place last season.

He chose to give up because of what he perceived as a lack of support in the transfer market, and now the club looking for their fourth manager in a little over one year.

The outspoken manager Ian Holloway led the team at season start last year, but after a dismal start to the season last year he withdrew. Then came Pulis in and took over, before Warnock got the job in early fall.

Now the club back on the market.
