Brækhus: – Now I’m not a criminal anymore – Aftenposten

The 33-year-old ban on professional boxing is repealed.

It became clear after the vote in Parliament on Tuesday evening. 54 voted to lift the ban, 48 voted against.

– This is totally unreal, and I’m incredibly glad that the Conservatives, FRP and Left stood at its very end, says Brækhus said.

– Now I’m not a criminal anymore. There has been a heavy burden to have over that one could have been jailed and described as criminal. We have always held back straight, and this is almost like being exonerated, continues Brækhus.

– I am incredibly proud of everyone who worked for this. I want to thank the biggest supporter my people. Without them had never gone through this.



– Is a folk festival

– I have not allowed the team to work with future plans yet. Now we are in goal and we can get started. I shall ensure that this becomes a celebration. Everyone is invited, too Labor and SV, but they must buy tickets themselves, she said.

The decision means that Cecilia Brækhus can defend World Cup titles in their own country. When that happens, is uncertain.

In addition to Brækhus Tim Robin Lihaug Kai Robin Havnås Simen SMÅDAL and Alexander Hagen been in the ring. Now they finally fight at home in Norway.
