Former Cardiff player: – Dæhli missing final product – Fædrelandsvennen

You mean it was right for Cardiff to sell the Norwegian national profile.

Mats Møller Dæhli did not fit into the way Cardiff- Manager Russell Slade wants to play football. Therefore, it was entitled to sell north man, believes former Cardiff player Jason Perry.

Perry played nearly 350 games for the Welsh club between 1987 and 1997. Now he follows Cardiff tight from the outside. Monday’s sale of Mats Møller Dæhli to German Freiburg emerges as a wise decision, says 44-year-old.

– He does not fit into Slades way to play football, and he has in common with many others in the stables says Perry said.

– Stable lacks balance, it is put together without any thought on systems, he adds.

Mats Møller Dæhli came to Cardiff in January and got 16 games for the club last season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer management. This season has been two innhopp.

– It is with Dæhli is that many like to watch him play. He is good on small surfaces, keeping well on the ball, is brave, but it does not come any end product, says Jason Perry.

– He turns no conclusive cross into the area and he does not see the good passes which opens a defense so Aaron Ramsey made at a young age, adds the former Cardiff player.

Perry denies not that Dæhli can acquire the skills mentioned in a few years, but 44-year-old says that Cardiff need players who can help the team now.

– As long as they have sold him for profit, and so long as the money is reinvested in the stable, I think it (the sale) was a good decision, he concludes.

Cardiff is currently 11th in the English championship series. Up to leading Bournemouth there are 12 points.
