The Nymo Matland (27) extended the contract with newly AaFK. The new contract is for one year, reports aafk.no.
– I am happy and relieved to have made a decision. After a somewhat heavy and turbulent season there nooks and new opportunities. I will work hard to show that I am still viable in AaFK, says 27-year old from Tromsø is looking forward to embark on a new season with new coaches.
Also ÅFK head coach Harald Aabrekk are very pleased and happy that Matland opted to sign for one more year.
– He is in attack position and I feel confident that he will come back after a somewhat difficult season where he also struggled with some minor injuries. Jo is experienced and knows the club well. In a stall with some young and inexperienced players, we need to mix young enthusiasm with experience. It elevates everyone and is a mix it is incredibly exciting to work with, says a satisfied Aabrekk the club’s own website.
