Dad Northug: – Petter will prioritize long runs – NRK

The controversies surrounding Petter Northug Coop agreement have been many, and the conversations around what will happen next season has already begun.

Skit No has notified that they do not want a new situation this season, where Petter Northug got an exemption from the rules, and could promote their own sponsor Coop throughout the summer.

A survey NRK has done shows that cross Norway probably not so gathered around the agreement they have previously expressed. But skistyret want to stand his ground, also because they are afraid for a spillover effect if they ever make exceptions for Northug.

Having seen Northug go into today’s gold lagsprinten in NM with his brother Thomas, gave John Northug a clear indication that Northug next season will prioritize long runs over the World.
