Men National Team is going to use the new away kit in EM qualifier against Croatia next Saturday, while women’s team will use the new home jersey for the first time against Netherlands April 8th, writes NFF in a statement.
NFF writes in its press release that the suit is designed with the athlete in mind. The new emblem of the suit will symbolize unity, heritage and history of Norway, it says.
– The suit feels very good. It is modern, while the classical expression is retained, says Martin Ødegaard, Norway youngest men national team of all time.
The top of the home suit is traditional red with a graduated blue stripe that runs obliquely downward front of the suit. In addition consists suit of white shorts and blue socks to create a timeless and fresh expression, writes NFF.
– I bear the Norwegian costume with pride and looking forward to going out on the track in the new suit says Real Madrid player.
Away suit is white and has v-neck, with a discreet plaid pattern, writes Football Association. The shorts and socks are also white. It should provide a coherent and pure expression.
– I think the national costume has been very nice. There are huge for us to have it on in the World Cup – especially with the new landslagsemblemet chest. It represents the values we stand for and not least who we represent: The Norwegian people, says Caroline Graham Hansen.
She is one of those who will be playing the World Cup in Canada in the summer – with the new suit.
– This is the first suit, which carries our new emblem. It represents pride, solidarity and brutality – values we share as a football family and as a nation when we look towards the future, says Kjetil Siem, secretary general of the NFF.
The new Norwegian home and away kit is available in stores from 21 March.
