England’s new prodigy spent 79 seconds to score in the national team debut – Dagbladet.no

England – Lithuania 4-0 (2-0)

(Dagbladet): England’s new loverboy got his national team debut tonight. And there used Harry Kane one minute and 19 seconds to score his first goal with the flag on Brys.

On his second ball touch sent Totteham player England up 4-0 at Wembley, which also was the end result.

– This is my greatest moment in his career. I’ve dreamed of playing for the national team at senior level. Hopefully I can keep going, so this is my first goal of many, said Kane to ITV Sport after the game.

England had before tonight’s game against Lithuania four wins in four games in the EM qualification.

Tonight increased the statistics of five out of five victories.



Rooney two goals behind

The English team opened offensively at home to Lithuania, and Wayne Rooney were close by sending “Three Lions” in the lead in the fourth minute – but header went in post .

But only minutes later, the United player count. Goalkeeper Giedrius Arlauskis gave rebound on a shot from Danny Welbeck. The rebound ended up with Rooney – who gets into 1-0 to England.

In the 19th minute was Rooney dangerously close a new goal. The post from Welbeck headed Rooney crossbar, while Jordan Henderson sent the rebound over the bar.

After scoring was Wayne Rooney just two goals behind Bobby Charlton scoring record on the England team with 49 goals.

Just before the break it seemed that United striker scored his 48 goals for England, but replays showed that Danny Welbeck header went through a player from Lithuania and the goal. Welbeck was still credited for 2-0 goal.



79 seconds

After half spent England about ten minutes before they extended the lead.

58 minutes was Wayne Rooney played through on the right. 29-year-old entered hard and low and Raheem Sterling had no trouble gaining 3-0 for the home team.

72 minutes became England captain somewhat surprisingly replaced – to great cheers. The celebrations went to Harry Kane, who tonight made its debut on the national team.

And more cheers would be for Harry Kane immediately. After a good preparation and pass from Sterling from left, plunged Tottenham player forward on cue – and heads England into 4-0 lead – 79 seconds after he came on the pitch.
