RBK close by hiring Erik Hoftun successor.
Former national team Stig Inge Bjørnebye is close to being hired as Rosenborg new sporting director.
Dagbladet reports this Friday afternoon, and sources confirmed to adressa.no that it is true that Bjørnebye is heading back to Rosenborg.
Stig Inge Bjørnebye have the latest Currently employed as development in the NFF.
He came to Rosenborg player from Kongsvinger before the 1992 season, before he went to Liverpool same autumn. He was also loaned back to RBK in 1994.
Bjørnebye has also played for Stream Brondby and Blackburn. 45-year-old got 76 caps Norway and participated in the 1994 World Cup and 1998 European Championship and 2000.
He was Åge Hareide assistant coach for the national team from 2003 to 2006, and he became the Start coach in 2006. He lasted only just over a year as CEO of Kristiansand club before he had to step aside.
