VM biathlon Thursday, mixed relay 2 x 6 km and 2 x 7.5 km (penalties under … – Adresseavisen

After a strong biathlon relay took Fanny Welle-Strand Horn, Tiril Eckhoff, Johannes Thingnes Bø and Tarjei Bø bronsemedsaljene in mixed relay.

Criminal Lap Eckhoff

Strong J. Bo

There were few changes to the underlying third leg. Belarus guy Vladimir Chepelin delivered five quick flashes. Belarus and the Czech Republic, Jurij Liadov and Ondrej Moravec, came together into the prone shooting. Both needed an extra shot, but Bo gunned down five quick. It also made Fourcade. During the second round came Fourcade completely up the back of Bo. Belarus and the Czech Republic came to the last shooting. 25 seconds behind came Norway and France. Almost like two duels in the Wild West.

Moravec began with a boom, but delivered five quick hits afterwards. Belarus needed three extra shots and disappeared out of medal game.

Czech first out, France 18.2 behind Norway 19.9 behind and Belarus 25.7 behind.

On the last lap toasted Fourcade quickly off his brother Bo. Thus it seemed to be a struggle to keep Belarus behind.

Czech was never threatened and took a solid and fully deserved favorite victory. France crossed the finish line 20.2 seconds behind and Tarjei Bø 27.7 behind.
