(Dagbladet): Barcelona came to London stiff with self, with 32 consecutive games without a loss. Of seven previous Champions League meetings layers in between, had Arsenal won only one.

Barcelona had just gone speechless pitch in domestic league once this season, and the Catalans had no plans to do it tonight.

Petr Cech has been a goalkeeper nightmare for superstar Lionel Messi. The duo have met six times in the Champions League and Messi has failed to outwit last redoubt one single time.

Before tonight.

Before it was just Messi who gained room in a beautiful Barcelona-break. Alone with Cech, he was ice cold, and hammered the visitors in the lead.

The same man doubled the lead scorer after 83 minutes. Then we had Mathieu Flamini made penalty after a minute on the field.

– It was a good consistent fight, and I’m very happy to go home with a good base, says Messi for Viasat after the game.

One of the best

– We lost because one of the best players ever. We lost 0-2 and we have a difficult task ahead. We did well until the first goal. We should also have scored, and then things could have been very different, says Cech to Viasat.

Cech also received questions about how to prepare for a backlash against some of the world’s best players.

– You prepare the same way for every game regardless of opponent, but sometimes your opponent the qualities needed to determine anyway, says the sober last stronghold.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said there is a 95 percent chance that Barcelona now proceeding.

– Technically we were very average. We were naive, and that’s what’s frustrating. It looked like we could win the game but we gave it away, says Wenger.

Chance Poor

The first round in London were not much to write home about . Both teams had one poor shot off target after 42 minutes. Closest was Arsenal and Oxlade-Chamberlain who put it right in the clips on Marc-André ter Stegen after he picked up a return.

The toxic attack trio of Barcelona was invisible in large parts of the game, but in overtime in the first place should Luis Suárez given the visitors the lead.

Dani Alves sends a cross into the box on the first touch and Suarez should just put foreheads to. The ball slipped however by his forehead and off the far post.

Barcelona had the ball 71 percent of the time in the first half but made surprisingly little on Emirates.

Store chances

Early in the second half suddenly Neymar a fighting chance. The Brazilian had a fantastic opportunity alone with Cech, who saved ending with a nice bone parade.

Ter Stegen would not be any worse on the other side, and saved Barca for a duration of an hour. Olivier Giroud towered head and butted the ball towards goal, but the keeper threw himself down and knocked away.

The seven meetings between the teams had resulted in 27 goals. That meant pocket a cool 3.86 goals per game. Tonight layers while not near to maintain the target view before it took off in the second half.

Lionel Messi had not made large when the game clock was moving over 70 minutes. Thou shalt not give MSN trio much room to attack, but it did Arsenal when they lost the ball high into the game. Neymar and Suarez ensured that Messi came alone with Cech. The Argentinian was icy and waited out the keeper before he knocked the ball into the net.

The scoring opened the game up properly, and there were great chances both teams the last quarter. Suarez shoots including the post from an angle, while Ramsey shot straight at ter Stegen from close range.

Mathieu Flamini came on after 82 minutes, and proceeded to make penalty in his first involvement. It thanked Lionel Messi for who knocked the ball to the left while Cech threw himself to the right.

Thus, it is undoubtedly very difficult out for Arsenal before the rematch in Spain.
