Zuccarello with two new assists in Rangers win – TV 2

New York Rangers secured a new disbelieving in the NHL since the Philadelphia Flyers were defeated 3-1 on hjemmeis. Mats Zuccarello was second to last in two of the goals.

On the first of those assists sent “Zucca” puck behind his back to between two Flyers Roster and Derek Stepan. Stepan is full of praise for Zuccarello Aasen.

– He’s a special player. The first pass was incredible. I give him a lot of credit. He has helped me a lot here. He is a happy guy who always gets involved with great enthusiasm. He enjoys what he does, said Stepan.

In a habitual tough and close fight between the two teams, decided the Rangers in the last half of the third period after long having led 1-0. Derek Stepan fixed both 2-0 and 3-0, and both times he was assisted by his Norwegian teammate.

The victory allows the Rangers retains lead over the New Jersey Devils on the table after Sunday’s matches. Washington Capitals tops Metropolitan Division with 84 points, while Rangers have 70 and Devils 65 points.

Derick Brassard gave Rangers the lead after only five minutes in Sunday’s game. From there, Rangers often pressured, but the Swedish star keeper Henrik Lundqvist kept a clean sheet until it remained for ten seconds of the game. When put Brayden Schenn into the Flyers’ consolation goal.

Mats Zuccarello played together 18.07 minutes and had one shot on goal. More startling was perhaps the Swede pulled on his six penalty minutes in the tough game.

The first expulsion had “Zucca” for crosschecking against Shayne Gostisbeher by itself – without a helmet – having been crosschecket by Chris Vandevelde early in the first period. Later in the period, he had to take involuntary break four minutes for high-sticked against Gostisbeher. (NTB / TV2)
