Laminitis and Norway smashed competitors – Nordlys

Norway crushed competitors in laghoppingen in Kuopio. The entire 54.4 points separated to deuce Germany. Daniel-Andre Tande sets hill record with 136 meters in the 1st half.

There was a large Norwegian day in the snow in Kuopio. Gangnes jumped Norway straight in the lead in the first pool in the 1st half. Then the whole was a Norwegian demonstration of power.

– Fun to be at work tonight, said national coach Alexander Stöckl said.

He was clearly relieved after recovery, just a day after the disappointment the K90 hill in Lahti where only three Norwegians took the final round.

– the guys were a little more chopped than in the small hill in Lahti. Here enjoyed themselves at once. No one did wrong, but we were also lucky with the conditions, says national team.

– Pretty flat where

Tande deleted Masahiko Harada hill record of 135.5 meters in 1998 with his jumps on 136 meters. Certainly was KIF-jumper pulled in style (16-16-16,5) for its deep landing.

– A cool jumps. He managed to finish where others pulled on far shorter anymore. Nearly it is possible to jump on this hill. I went down there afterwards. It is fairly flat where he landed, said Stöckl.

– Tande love this ground. It is the first time he jumps here. From the first jump, he said “I love this hill,” let success coach.

Snow in slot

Then jumped Anders Fannemel 128 meters and was as Gangnes best in their round. Johann André Forfang followed up with 129 meters, and was only beaten by World Cup leader Peter Prevc (133.5 meters) in the fourth pool. Thus led Norway with 30.3 points after the first round.

The management just increased and increased in the final round. Gangnes landed at 130 meters, while Tande, who had to wait because of the snow in the groove, denied him with 132.5 meters. Kongsberg jumper was just a big smile on the field.

Anders Fannemel jumped 126 meters, while Norway’s anchorman Forfang jumped 131.5 meters in the final round.

Not settled

Prevc would have won if it were individually races, narrowly ahead Tande, while Forfang would become three.

Japan, who had veteran Noriaki Kasai of the team, was trey, narrowly ahead of Austria and Slovenia.

the host country Finland is struggling in the ski jump. The once proud hop nation was second last with 675.8 points – the entire 381.4 points behind the superior Norwegians Alexander Stöckl.

There are individual races Tuesday. Seven Norwegians compete.

– It will be exciting. My boys thrive in larger hills than the one that was in Lahti. The performers are good to fly. When votes all, said Stöckl about their expectations for Tuesday’s night race.

– And now Nation Cup secured with a lead of 966 to Germany?

– No. . Nothing is assured. We’re not done until we’re done, said Stöckl.
