Moreno Hofland (LottoNL-Jumbo) and Roy Jaan (Wanty) came runners up.

How it happened:

the table was basically covered for Alexander Kristoff on day 3 in Oman. Not only did Mark Cavendish gone home, but Swede also benefit from the field’s best winding around it.

The 176.5 km long stage would by all appearances end in a flat asked by Naseem Park: Two flat kilometers and an eight-meter wide road was the last point on the trail map.

Today’s breach did go early, and it was quite not surprising that Kenny Dehaes sat there. It was namely Wanty rider third day of the breach in a row.

Two of Roompot in breach

This time he was joined by Ivar So (Roompot Oranje), Jordan Kerby (Drapac), Brian Van Goethem (Roompot Oranje) and Kenneth Van Rooy (Topsport Vlaanderen).

the breach was controlled by the field all day. Van Rooy suffered a puncture, and not long after, he and Dehaes run into.

There were three in front with just under four mil again. The weather has deteriorated sharply and rain poured down when the field was heading inland from the coast again.

20 km later there was still 1 minute and 25 seconds between the three front and field behind.

Who could challenge Kristoff?

There was still time to steel themselves ahead mass sprint. Both Kristoff and Edvald Boasson Hagen has shown excellent form so far in February, and was among the pre-favorites.

Boasson Hagen in the race lead jersey, Kristoff far more rested after taking it easy the first few days.

Among contenders were also Sam Bennett (Bora Argon 18), Andrea Guardini (Astana) and Kevin Hofland (LottoNL-Jumbo). Perhaps also Gerald Ciolek (Stölting Service Group) which seemed spike during the opening stage.

Van Goethem retrieved

Within the last mile was Brian Van Goethem fetched. He had stabbed the basis Kerby and To, which had already been driven into.
