– a signing for the future

Celtics Norwegian supporter We are also happy to get a neighbor to the club.

– it is a very exciting signing, but there is also a little surprising. I thought he would not move to Glasgow because of his girlfriend. I had reasoned it up, says the manager of Celtic Supporters Club Norway, Harald Harsson, with a smile to TV2.

And continues:

– I think this will be a very positive signing for Celtic. This is a signing for the future. It Ajer have shown for Start has been very good, despite the young age. It may not have been Martin Ødegaard level of it, but he is very good. That he was Start-captain already at age 16 is also impressive.

A challenge for Ajer is that he just is Norwegian Harsson.

– Will be critical of Norwegian player

Norwegian manager and former Celtic players from Norway who has held varying quality earlier, he may get tougher requirements aimed at them.

– Celtic fans will probably be a little more critical to a Norwegian player. I had reason not believed Deila would fetch a new Norwegian with the first, just due to it. But it is obvious that Celtic have followed Ajer long and knows what they are doing. This is a long term investment, says Harsson.

Ajer is incidentally the sixth Swede in green and white. Previously Harald Brattbakk, Vidar Riseth, Thomas Rogne, Jo Inge Berget and Stefan Johansen – who are still in the team – has been at Celtic Park.

– Of them so it’s really just Johansen sporty set has been very good, although he has had some dips this season, says Harsson.

he still think that Ajer can be at least as great success as Johansen was last season.

– Ajer is clearly an exciting player, and a young talent that fits right on target for Celtic. But I would not expect too much the first season. Celtic have also taken several other youngsters in the past, and has well now 16 midfielders in the team. There is tough competition.

– While it seems Ajer as a very mature and adult players. It speaks to his advantage, saying Harsson.
