Emilie Haavis early goal was played only when a Norwegian football women won 1-0 over Iceland in Algarve Cup in Friday.

Even Pellerud teams beating immediately back after it pinched 1-2 loss to the USA in Wednesday’s opening match.
Haavi could easily take Norway in guide after only eight minutes in Portuguese Lagos. She picked up the ball when Iceland blew it in their own penalty area and rolled it into the open goal.
LSK striker stood behind mostly Norway undertook offensively before the break. After 42 minutes she knocked on a return ball for a corner, but the shot went just wide.
In the second half continued the Norwegian team to control the game. Iceland’s first chance came when a free kick after 50 minutes was headed just past the post.

The same thing happened the other way just a few minutes later. On a cross from Melissa Bjånesøy tried Haavi to plunge into 2-0 headed past aluminum.
Pellerud chose an almost entirely new starting eleven from the match against the United States. He could enjoy team work.
Norway meets Switzerland last group game Monday. The Norwegian football girls is in second place in Group A, ahead of the Swiss on a better goal difference. USA tops with full pot. (© NTB)
