Jacobsen went Norway into convincing victory – NRK

At the final stage went there namely quite confused for Germany and Sweden’s anchor women Marika Sundin and Nicole fess.

The two fought each other for fourth place, but suddenly you could see on television images that they stood still and looked pretty confused.

They had gone the wrong way.

The two discovered the error relatively quickly and got turned around, but lost nevertheless an part time. Fortunately for them there were only two that were close to take fourth place.

Superb Norwegian victory

It went far better for the Norwegian girls.

In Marit Bjørgens mom absence has the others on the team had to step in on the last leg of the relays. Heidi Weng was anchor woman for Norway in Lillehammer before Christmas.

In today’s relay was Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen who would settle for Norway. It’s been a few years since the last time she had the role, but many will remember that she was anchor woman in World Cup in 2007.

Today received Jacobsen an even easier task on the last leg.

The relay started albeit steadily – in a few minutes.

But midway through the first leg put Ingvild Flugstad Østberg up speed. When she alternated with Heidi Weng led Norway already 27 seconds ahead of Germany.

After Østbergs roaring leg acted only to stay ahead of Norway. It managed both Weng and Johaug just fine on the second and third stage. Jacobsen could just cruise around, knocking a solid Norwegian victory.
