Zuccarello punish settled for Rangers – Adresseavisen

Mats Zuccarello struck his penalty stroke and gave New York Rangers 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers in Saturday’s away game in the NHL.

Thus, he ensured a happy outcome in the first of two games Rangers- players’ mothers have been invited by the club to attend. There was great rejoicing among the mothers when the decision fell.

– It’s the mothers standing closest. It will be an interesting ride it here and fun that she gets seen how it is here, said Zuccarello NTB earlier in the week.

It was 2-2 after three ordinary periods and lengthening, and thus had the decision fall in a shootout. Zuccarello was the only one who scored.

Henrik Lundqvist in goal saved shots from Shayne Gostisbehere and Claude Giroux, while he pushed Jakub Voráček to shoot outside.

Zuccarello was the first Rangers-shooter in action, and he feinted Steve Mason in the home goal down on the ice before he went around him and put the puck into the goal from close range. When it did not matter that Dan Boyle strikes with his attempt.

Rangers let out a GIF video of Zuccarello stroke penalty on his Twitter account, with emneknaggen #ZuccJuke (Zucca-feint).

Zuccarello played 20.44 minutes in the game, of which nearly three minutes in the extension. He was not on the ice at any of the four goals scored.

JT Miller and Chris Kreider scored for Rangers, who turned 0-1 to management before Wayne Simmonds forced the extension of its scoring in hideout play well halfway through the last period.

Lundqvist saved 34 shots in the game, and noted its 20 . win of the season. He is the first NHL goalie who has had at least 20 wins in each of his first 11 seasons. (© NTB)
