Holmenkollen / Bergen (TV 2): For a cross country skier. For a demonstration of power.
Therese Johaug was simply unstoppable in the women tremil in Holmenkollen. Already after two minutes said Johaug thank you for your company to the competition and went alone in front throughout the race to a superior victory.
It is the third time Johaug wins tremilen in Kollen, but the first time she’s doing it in classic style.

– I’d go a good ski races today. I focused on technique throughout. I knew that I had an insanely good day. It cost me nothing really. That is what is the difference between the good and bad days.

She agrees that the distance down to the contenders is great, but Holmenkollen and Johaug is a deadly combination.

Teams Egil Kristiansen says he has not experienced before power demonstration after seeing Johaug ravage competition.

Heidi Weng took fourth place after asking turned Laura Mononen.

Sunday’s victory consolidates Johaug position as the season’s best skier. The 27 year old is still World Cup leader ahead ingvild flugstad østberg and Heidi Weng, but the excitement is far from over.
– There are many sprint races as Ingvild takes many points. It’s the best one in Canada (mini tour ) that takes the bullet, says Johaug.
