Zuccarello-punishing fixed Rangers victory – TV 2

New York Rangers were 13 seconds from defeat against Philadelphia Flyers, but won 3-2 after Mats Zuccarello and Derek Stepan scored in each of their penalty stroke.

Henrik Lundqvist did not get in any of the home side’s two-stroke penalty and thus was the victory of the guests after a dramatic match.

Flyers led 2-1 after goals by Shayne Gostisbehere and Ryan White, but 12.9 seconds before finally managed Keith Yandle getting into the settlement. Zuccarello was on the ice, but was not directly involved in the center.

After five goalless lengthening minutes fell decision on penalty strokes.

Zuccarello had assists on the Rangers’ first equalizing goal, the 1-1 early in the 3rd period. Chris Kreider steered into the goal. It was the Norwegian’s 20 assists this season.

Zuccarello played 18.21 minutes and had two shots on goal. He received plus 1 in plus / minus statistic. (© NTB)
