Brede Hangeland has decided – TV 2

Wide Hang’s contract with Crystal Palace went out after the season, and it has been speculated where he would continue his career.

But the London club have offered him a new contract.

Thus, it becomes another season at Selhurst Park.

– I have extended my contract with Crystal Palace with one year. I am incredibly happy to be in the good company one year. It’s getting a lot of years now, he said to TV 2.

Although he has been assured that he would get a new contract.

– There is always some uncertainty when you go out of a contract, but I have had a good dialogue with Alan Pardew, who is a fantastic manager. I have been fairly confident that it would work out. But having said that it’s good to get it done and get it out in public, and could concentrate on the new season, he said.

Many people thought that the veteran would turn home and end his career in Viking. But such was not.

Wide Hang’s football future is uncertain.

– It would be a good option there. But with all due respect to Viking and Soccer, I think that playing in the Premier League is a chance one should take when it’s there, he explains.

Hangeland is very pleased with Pardew as manager, even though he got less playing time than he has been accustomed to last season.

Next season’s schedule to play even more.

– The ambition is to play fast. I plan to train hard. They must be good ones that will take place in front of me, says the former England captain.

And he believes a good season for Crystal Palace.

– If we had taken our form the last six months, it would become Champions League Crystal Palace. But it is perhaps too easy to take the logic further. But we have a top manager. We are in a part of London which is good, so it depends on who comes and goes. We’ll see. But it looks bright, he said.
