Claims Riise would change teams in the eleventh hour – contractual conflict – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): John Arne Riise announced earlier this week that he will play in India next season. Club selection should be announced on his wife Louise Angelica blog Wednesday, but the blog post is overdue.

Now enter the Indian newspaper The India Times reported that a contract conflict is the reason.

Riise according to the newspaper signed a preliminary contract with Kerala Blasters, but in the eleventh hour changed his mind. Instead, they want the man with the most caps for Norway to play for Delhi Dynamos.

NRK also refers to the case and Risse should have signed something called a “letter of sacrifice” with Kerela Blasters. Riise was also agreed on a salary of 300 thousand dollars.

– But Riise is keen on playing for Delhi Dynamos offering him the same salary, a source told the newspaper.

Kerela have submitted letters of sacrifice to league management, which will assess whether the agreement is binding.

The league that has only existed for a season lasts from September to December . Riise should have been offered the same salary in Delhi Dynamos.
