Dagbladet’s verdict: The anchor is best when Norway challenged their own self – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Norway would surf the confidence they gained after the second round against Germany.

Instead, they kept on playing it by themselves. The African girls could be the fight in surprisingly large extent. Not because they were so good. More because Norway again walked into a trap, let themselves lower down the opponent’s pace, and never managed to control the match such a superior team to do.

Particularly offensive failed it. The interaction was absent, the structure did not work and passes voiced rarely races.

– We are probably not good enough to control fights, Solveig Gulbrandsen turns solid after a fight that looks decent out in the book for Norway.

Lene best

It was a straightforward 3-1 win after Ada Hegerberg scored two and Gulbrandsen even bald in the third.

But some jubilation mood was not anyway.

– We need to up a few notches in the eighth final. But we know we can. It showed the second round against Germany, says Gulbrandsen.

Lene Mykjåland was Norway’s best player tonight. She thrives in the role of midfield anchor, where she gets used his understanding of football, technique and his passing. far from all voted in night, but enough that Norway won fine against a weak opponent.

And enough that Mykjåland should have the role of the rest of the World Cup. No one is better suited to serve Ada Hegerbeg and Isabell Herlovsen up games they need to send Norway far in the World Cup.
