Formula 1 star is dead – VG

French Jules Bianchi (25) died from injuries he suffered in Formula 1 accident in Japan nine months ago.

It was during the Grand Prix last October that he lost control of his Marussia car in a høyhastigskurve and crashed into a wheel loader that had entered the area in order to salvage the car to Adrian Sutil.

According to family died Bianchi Friday night at a hospital in Nice in France, near her parents’ home.

– Jules fought to the end, as he always did, but now his fight over. The pain we feel is immense and indescribable. We want to thank the medical team in Nice, who looked at him with love and affection, writes the family said in a statement on Facebook.

Bianchi is the first door for a Formula 1 accident at 21 years old. The last death was in May 1994, when Ayrton Senna died.

Heavy rains

The accident occurred in heavy rain. Sutil got aquaplaning, and a vehicle came onto the field carrying away his car while the driver himself received medical treatment on the pitch.

Bianchi Then came running. He also got into trouble in the exact same place as Sutil – and ran out – but the Frenchman crashed into the tractor that was in place to salvage Sutil car.

It was attempted retrieved a legehelikopter to get the Frenchman to hospital as quickly as possible, but according to Sky Sports ensured the weather conditions that it failed to ease again. Bianchi was therefore taken by ambulance and transported to Mie General Hospital.

In retrospect, it was concluded that salvage crews could not be blamed for the accident.

Motorsport environment in grief

Bianchi began his Formula 1 career in 2011 as a test driver for Ferrari. In 2013 he debuted in races for the Russian Marussia team in Australia and ended in 15th-place.

In the Monaco Grand Prix, he finished ninth last year and thus secured the first championship points for himself and Marussia .
