Kamara: – It was tough – Romsdals Budstikke

Ola Kamara scored MFKs only goal when the team took in a solid performance with a 1-1 draw away against Dinamo Zagreb. Kamara started on top in Moldes 4-5-1, and became a lone striker against three Dinamo-stoppers. Where both he and handing out a beating.

– It was tough. I got a real messy elbow where among other things in the first place, and got a little afterward, too.

– What happens in the situation where you get your elbow in your face?

– We arrive at a counter, then stops one stop their just giving me an elbow. Usually’s the red card if he sees it. Line referee should seen it I think. But that’s it. Man must surely expect slightly down in Europe, says Kamara.

Fast equalizer

He put away the important equalizing goal just a few minutes after that Dinamo had taken the lead.

– It’s a good result. It’s a tough match, and we come under 1-0. But then we get 1-1, and then we also have an away goal. It is important.

– How important was it to get the equation so quickly after their leading goal?

– I think it took a little air out of them . Just when they scored it looked like they got a little momentum, and felt enough healthy. But 1-1 so that they fell slightly and the enthusiasm of the audience fell fast. They began the beeping on them, which was beneficial for us, says Kamara.

– Incredibly exciting

The goal came after a lovely cross from Martin Linne, who swung the ball perfectly on head of Kamara. The tip was strong headed the 1-1.

– I see early what he (Linne) is going to do, then he puts a perfect bow behind their defenders with perfect hardness. It was really just controlling it in for me, says Kamara.

During the fight, he was like the rest of the team tired. He should probably be replaced in the second half but when Knut Olav Rindarøy got cramp and MFK only had one switch again to tip play the match out.

– There is a battle where we run a lot and work for each other. That can, but I think soon it may be a completely different game on artificial turf in Molde. Here it was a bumpy turf where the grass relax a little. But the main thing was that we worked for each other.

– What do you think about the rematch?

– I think it is incredibly exciting. I hope audiences come and cheer us forward, for it here can be great fun, says Kamara.
