Deila to Dagbladet: – Congratulations, Martin – Dagbladet.no

MARIBOR (Dagbladet): Celtic manager Ron Deila met the press in the evening before the crucial Champions League qualifiers against Slovenian NK Maribor tomorrow.

– We used to be favorites, but we must have a good performance and deliver over two games to do this, says Deila.

– Congrats, Martin

Deila met Dagbladet and other press from Scotland, Norway and Slovenia in the home team’s stadium: Ljudski been the. Stadium is located right in the heart of the city Maribor, northeast of the country.

Slovenian champion

Maribor is the second largest city in Slovenia with around 150,000 inhabitants. Only capital Ljubjiana is larger with its 275.000.

football-wise, Maribor however far the largest with NK Maribor as the country’s flagship. The team has four straight league championships and have dominated the Slovenian series over a long period.

Team stands with 12 championships since 1996 and the memories that slowly but Rosenborg’s heyday in the 1990s in Norway.

The teams meet in Maribor at 20.45 in the morning. The return match played in Glasgow on Tuesday. The winner of these two games are ready for the group stage of the Champions League.
