Solskjær best coach in the duel against Rösler – Fædrelandsvennen

Ole Gunnar Solskjær continued its successful season beginning in Cardiff on Wednesday. Nicky Maynard’s goal after 52 minutes produced a 1-0 victory over Wigan at home.

In an open game it Cardiff drew the longest straw after starting fresh in the second half. Maynard scored from close range after Kenwyne Jones had headed on one corner.

At halftime Mats Moller Dæhli been replaced. The Norwegian had some great engagements, but made no great match for the home team. Magnus Wolff Eikrem was unutilized reserve.

Dæhli was replaced by Anthony Pilkington, who thus made his debut for Cardiff. The wing was recently taken from Norwich.

For the home side’s keeper David Marshall enough once important to a few key saves. Wigan was not harmless, but the Cardiff goalkeeper was in the difficult corner Tuesday.

This game finished 1-0 and Cardiff’s second victory in the championship series of three experiments. Solskjaer’s men can say to be very satisfied with seven points so far.
