Knudtzon ødela Berres jubelkveld – Aftenposten

Morten Berres Sunday scored his 100th goal in the playoffs – but the 39-year-old celebration evening was ruined by a former Lightning player.

Lillestrøm (Aftenposten.no): with respectively five and six league matches without defeat, risked both Lillestrøm and Vålerenga at a respectable number of points can be destroyed by their fiercest rival. A Lillestrøm team without home defeat since May 16 drew to end the longest straw.

Created danced jenka long after the game, and even the mascot took a victory lap in the interview zone Åråsen. But happiest of all was perhaps a match winner and former Lightning player, Erling Knutdzon.

– Hjemmestatitsikken our starts getting good. Now we just have to be better away from home, smiling Knudtzon.

He was too tired to join in the dance battles. And he is also joined to embellish away record against Sogndal next round. 25-year-old must in fact quarantine zone due to yellow card.

– I’m sorry, but I got at least won the game tonight. As a former Lightning player, I know that there is no better feeling than beating Vålerenga, says the match winner.

Only with three digit

Another quarantine issues, was Vålerenga’s top scorer Vidar Örn Kjartansson. In his absence was super veteran Morten Berre moved in as a forward for the visitors from the start. 39-year-old has been involved in as many fights as Kjartansson, but scored 18 fewer goals.

A new league goal from the blue ice of the number 11 would, however, be Berres 100 goals in the top flight, and could be enough to help Vålerenga past Rosenborg on the table, as Trønders traveled pointless home from Bergen same evening.

some time it promising: Immediately after page changed on Åråsen, poked Only the ball over the line from close range after a header from Alexander Mathiesen. Erling Knudtzon ending to a good LSK attacks fifteen minutes before the end, led to the guests still had to travel pointless home to the capital city.

Just took a pizza on the way out of the locker room, but was not significant festive mood.

– I’d appreciate if goal number 100 would have been important, but I do not think about it now, says Berre.

He left Åråsen with a “congratulations” from the 14 year younger match winner.

Beautiful from Vaagan Moen

There was however Petter Vaagan Moen who had reason to be happy first. 30-year-old continued where he left off in the last home of “canaries” when he decided syvmålsthrilleren against Brann in overtime. Within 20 minutes were played against Vålerenga, hammered Vaagan Moen Lillestrøm in the lead after great work from Moryké Fofana and Bjørn Helge Riise.

At the other end struggled a Running willing Morten Berre and form strong Ghayas Zahid to upset the home team. Terminations by Simon Larsen and Max Bjørsvik was the only Vålerenga created hazardous units during the first 45 minutes.

Knudtzon fifth

Only goal for the rest, however, accelerate the visitors, where both Only, Zahid and Sivert Heltne Nilsen had opportunities to shoot Vålerenga in the lead early in the second half. Yet it was Erling Knudtzon which accounted for most completions – and thus ended up being the big hero with his fifth goal of the season.

In his third big chance for the evening, and after a great attack where both Fofana and Vaagan Moen was involved, wide as 25-year-old utakbart the winning goal behind Michael Langer after 74 minutes. The victory took the yellow up seventh in the table before the meeting with Sogndal in the next round. And with three points against arch-rival, looking LSK coach Magnus Haglund every reason to sleep well.

– We’re getting very coordinated for these years we have had together, we show today. Without a victory I think a medal would have been difficult. Now we still have a chance, says Haglund.
