Morten Gamst Pedersen and Rosenborg concludes partnership a year ahead of schedule. He had contracted out the 2016 season, but lends itself to trønder club now.
– It has been rewarding for us as a club to have such a merited and experienced player like Morten on the team and in the squad. He has played a significant role in the whole club. However, we have concluded that in the plans we have for this season and the years ahead, it is not Morten part thereof, said head coach Kåre Ingebrigtsen to rbk.no.
– I have very much appreciated on being Rosenborg and be part of the development we’ve had the last two seasons. I want to thank everyone in and around the club for a nice time together, says Morten Gamst Pedersen.
It is unclear what happens next on the football field for the veteran.
