VAL DI FIEMME / OSLO (Dagbladet): Martin Johnsrud Sundby was once again in a class of its own when he went to the top of today’s 15 km mass start classic in Val di Fiemme.
Niklas Dyrhaug hijacked 2nd place after a very strong race, while Alexey Poltoranin took the final podium position.

Main Contenders Petter Northug, Sergej Utsjugov and Finn-Hågen Krogh was outclassed with so much Sundby effectively removed all doubt in the battle for Tour de Ski victory. Now head Sundby with outrageous 2.51 minutes Northug forth a drawbar.
– I’ve never had such good skis today. This principle is of course very good. I have not thought of a monster ground now, but it’s about time to start to dread, says Sundby.
Northug alerts war
Poltaranin, Utsjugov, Krogh and Tønseth follows just a few seconds behind Northug again. In other words, the fight for podium places very exciting – as opposed to win the game.
Tønseth in 6th place follows only 25 seconds behind Northug and should have good opportunities to overtake World Cup king of Falun in tomorrow’s monster hill.

Mysterious Cologna-collapse
