TO Hansson did not quarantine – but it gets judge Sandmoen – Nordlys

Judge Brage Sandmoen should not judge next weekend league round. It confirms himself against online newspaper.

– I think it’s okay to get a break now and breathe out a little. Doing a bad performance it is out of the team, so it is. And that’s okay, says Sandmoen Nettavisen.

The break comes as a result of the missing red card to Marcus Hansson Alfheim Sunday.

Hansson damaged Bjørn Helge Riise with a fierce tackle but was only rewarded with a controversial yellow card.

Requested judge quarantine

In retrospect Sandmoen received fierce criticism from several quarters. Bjørn Helge Riise not unknown brother John Arne drove an entire Twitter campaign around the issue, and TV2 studio was not Jesper Mathisen gracious.

– Judges are the talking before every season that they will pounce on the kind tackles, it happens never. If you can not judge a red card on it, you understand nothing of football. The referee should get quarantined for several matches for failing to see that it’s red card, said Mathisen TV2 Football Night.

Sandmoen understand that criticism is coming, and points out several times that he takes inwards back messages that he did a poor job.

– I perceived the situation there and then as a reckless tackle and that Riise was swept over. I see the situation well, but from my position, it is not immediately clear that it is a red card. But when I see the situation afterwards, I see that I make a miscalculation. It is difficult, but such things do we get with us, admits Sandmoen.

Judge President Terje Hauge has had a meeting with a committee and looked at the situation Alfheim. Where they came to the conclusion that Sandmoen did wrong.

– We have concluded that it is a red card. It is so far not so surprising. But we see that the criteria are in place that this is a serious breach of the rules, says Hauge Nettavisen.

– Hard line

In the aftermath of league round was on Football Night hotly debated about what kind linesmen in Tippeligaen settles on.

In the struggle between Sandefjord and Sarpsborg Sarpsborg player Henrik Ojamaa expelled for a foul that several believe is not nearly as ugly as Hanssons tackle on Riise.

Ole Martin Årst believed that “it is impossible for players to know what is a red card and what is not red card.”

Sandmoen can understand the problem.

– Guidelines and rules are there and they try all judges to live as equally as possible. And we work hard to achieve it. At all meetings and courses, the focus is on situations and how to react properly to the guidelines. But combat situation is influenced by where you stand according to the situation, where you are located. There are so many factors that come into play, and we try as best we can to achieve an equal enforcement of the practice. Later path we see situations in different setting, and it is difficult to achieve a 100 percent equal interpretation. But that’s what we work hard, says Sandmoen.

John Arne Riise also chose to enroll in the debate.

– Simply scandal! If the judge does not turn into such tackles there are many careers that are in danger, wrote Riise on Twitter about the tackle on his brother.

– As a rule, we hit

Sandmoen promise that all judges are doing their best to protect the players.

– But we never completely control over how one is placed and watching the different situations. It’s very big difference in judging situations on the track and on video in retrospect. So it is also for us judges. But we should be good at detecting situations and use criteria for what characterizes tackles to give a yellow card and what characterizes tackles to give red. As a rule, we meet, but sometimes fall short we said Sandmoen.

Terje Hauge stressed that he still has confidence Sandmoen.

– Brage has been in the Premier League in X number of years and has performed very well over the long haul. We have no reason to doubt Brages qualities. This situation was unfortunate, but it’s like that sometimes, says Hauge.

PS Sandmoen should not judge a saint, but he is set up as fourth official in the struggle between Strømsgodset and Sandefjord at NRK.
