Dramatic final minutes when Sarpsborg 08 went to the Cup final – Dagbladet.no

STAVANGER (Dagbladet): The teams battled and fought for the right to play the cup final at Ullevaal Thursday night. A header in the first half of extra time was all it took.

Danske Patrick Mortensen showed his head strength and ensured that there is Sarpsborg 08 who will play the cup final against Rosenborg.

Cup is notoriously played by “win or disappearances” principle. It marked Thursday’s match.

The game waved back and forth while both teams wanted to run frequent counterattacks. Yet they let big chances on hold in the first half.
