Heroic Stabæk players heartbroken by RBK comeback – Dagbladet.no

LERKENDAL (Dagbladet): For a drama it was at Lerkendal when Rosenborg and Stabæk met the semifinals of the Cup. Stabæk was best very long, but Rosenborg salvaged extra time and after 95 minutes put substitute Matthias Vilhjalmsson into 3-2 cross from another substitute, Yann-Erik de Lanlay. Rosenborg had scored in each of his three decent chances in the game!

And although Stabæk players fought desperately for an equalizer in the final minutes, kept RBK away and secured their place in the cup final in 2015.

– We play no brilliant football game. We are tired and I am very happy to be in the final. We win on a bad day. With the kjøret we’ve been through, I am proud. It is not beautiful, but I’m proud of the guys, says RBK coach Kåre Ingebrigtsen to NRK after the settlement, while several of Stabæk players located on the grass lawn and despair.

Near the goal they were also a couple of times, but it was Rosenborg who scored the first goal after just seven minutes. Stabæk had just had a great opportunity that was saved expertly by Andrè Hansen. Soon after stuck Pål André Helland in the back, received a perfect pass from the middle of their own half and chipped quiet over Stabæk keeper Mande Sayouba who was out of position.

Rosenborg had scored two of two chances in the game, it was 2-2 and drama at Lerkendal continued into extra innings.
When used thus Rosenborg only five minutes to decide.
Deserved or not, Rosenborg is ready for the Cup final.
