Chairman Øystein Neerland takes over MFK.
This report Molde FK in a statement. Neerland takes over as CEO of MFK from 1 December 2015. Current CEO, Tarje Nordstrand Jacobsen, has asked to resign.
Neerland is currently track age for the club and has been a part of Board since 1998. He has also played 236 matches for MFK.
Neerland is currently regional director for the industrial goods chain TOOLS and resign now from this position.
– I thrive particularly well in TOOLS, so it’s not that I had a desire to quit. At the same time I love football, know Molde FK well, this is an exciting opportunity that I simply can not say no to. Molde has a strong position in Tarje we have had a good leader, we have many skilled workers and much interesting going on. It will be exciting to be involved in developing this further, says Neerland in a press release.
Odd Ivar Moen takes over as chairman of Molde Football Club from 1st December until the annual meeting in Molde FK in 2016.
