– We are playing brilliant football
– This was great fun. I was a little excited about how it was going to go when they scored after three minutes. But the boys are wonderful and responsive after that goal. We play brilliant football and dares to be Rosenborg. And we dare to be patient and wait for the transitions. In the second half I think it is very, very good that we do, said a satisfied RBK coach Kåre Ingebrigtsen to TV2 after the game.

RBK- coach was satisfied with the atmosphere in the stands.

– I’m tired in the head. It’s fantastic to be here. There is great demand and good mood. When we are playing well and are good, so we show that we can withstand this. We have played on us experience in qualifying and I think it was an enjoyable evening sitting on the bench, said Ingebrigtsen after the game.

Svensson: – Something completely different than the Premier League
Goalscorer Jonas Svensson was also happy with the game. Especially with that he finally got himself a goal again.

– I’ve got a part pes and comments that I have not scored for a long time, so it was nice to score. I saw that my teammates were happy for me too. So it was nice to get a few kilos off your shoulders, he said to TV 2

Svensson believes Saint-Étienne held a much higher level than they are come to expect from the Premier League.

– It was busy and a lot happened. There were many good players, a lot of speed and technique. It was something completely different than what we encounter in the Premier League. I think we played a good game defensively, but you will not make many mistakes before being punished. It so one might, he said.

In the other match in Group G ended also tie between Dnipro and Lazio. 1-1 in that game makes Rosenborg leads the group.

Mikkelsen equalized after nightmare start
Rosenborg got the worst possible start to the settlement when Saint-Étienne scored after just four minutes when Robert Beric.

– It is like that as they go out. With edge and tip coming behind. So we are not following the race. It’s good speed and good timing in their attack, then hangs we not also put the it. It is well done by them. We could have done it better. One should not be standing next to here. Then people get punished, said Ingebrigtsen on the French first objective.

And added:

– After that we had better control. But it takes time to get used to the level.

And just what did RBK. Tobias Mikkelsen scored three goals away from home in qualifying for the Europa League. After 16 minutes it was the Danish away specialist on the move again. Mike Jensen chipped the ball into the back room of Mikkelsen, who took time off behind the defense. Then he took down the ball in one touch and put the ball under the goalkeeper and the goal.

After the settlement wavy game back and forth, with a slight advantage to the home team. Especially defender substitute Fredrik Midtsjø got busy on his left side. The teams went for the halftime break at 1-1.

Top Konradsen-chance
After the break the game continued to wave back and forth, without any of the teams created some great chances.

About an hours was recorded when RBK got surrounded gens first big opportunity. Jonas Svensson struck up to Søderlund, which startled Anders Konradsen through open Stéphane Ruffier. Konradsen managed however to outwit Ruffier and put the ball wide of the target.

Saint-Étienne was obviously not happy with a point and chased on to get a goal.

Late goals troublefree RBK-party
Instead it was Rosenborg who went into the lead. Ole Selnæs lifted a free kick towards the back post. Where did Alexander Søderlund a great job in a duel with two defenders and got flicked the ball on to Jonas Svensson, who chipped the ball and scored.

– It was lovely to get into the goal.

Three minutes from time got the hosts awarded a penalty. Nolan Roux was safe from the penalty spot and thus stood 2-2.
