Now Northug negotiate personally – NRK

It says Northug manager Are Sørum Langås NRK afterwards that Northug held a roughly 40 seconds long monologue (see video above), three media on the steps of the Oslo City Hall on Wednesday evening.

– I’ve got with me that FIS has cleared the deal, but I hope they take in the invitation to enter into dialogue to find a solution, said Northug initially.

And now he will even go in negotiations .

– Blank off

The last week’s events have made that Northug even went to Oslo height stay in Italy. For now, the goal is to meet skiledelsen who has withdrawn the offer to Northug.

– We made repeated requests last week and got a flat refusal on it. Now we have again expressed a desire for dialogue, because we believe that is important. Then we will then wait for a response from the Norwegian Ski Federation, says Langås NRK.

– But Petter wants now to meet FIS personally?

– Yes. And Peter is very engaged in this here though. When he is at home and have the opportunity to be with as he will do it. So it is not surprising that others around him to help him with these questions when he is up collection also further so we know and are confident that he will done the job he goes toward winter, says Langås.

critical to meeting business

General Stein Opsal was frustrated over Northug in a statement Ski Federation last night. He was there critical that Northug never participate in meetings personally.

– Based on all meetings and communications that has been the case since 2013, we are very surprised incorrect assertions of Petter Northug. This is due perhaps that he himself has not participated in a single meeting since 30 April 2013, stated Opsal.

Langås answers the NRK questions about FIS at any point have requested Northug in their meetings:

– No. They have not done, says Langås.

– Inactive since 2013

Stein Opsal said yesterday afternoon that personally attending from skiing stars could possibly changed the deadlock.

– He has not even been active in the meetings since 2013, but we know him as a committed person, so in scenes I guess he’d been running. Perhaps it would have been easier if he had helped, said Opsal

He says it’s skistyret which now need to consider whether there are grounds for providing Northug a meeting.

Considering case Thursday

Skip Resident Erik Røste is to NRK clear that even a meeting with Northug manager has little point.

– I have not had time to look at it today. If there is an inquiry where Are shall inform us of original claim has little purpose. There have been three meetings about it through the summer. I look at it tomorrow, writes ships resident Erik Røste in a sms to NRK that his comments for Northug-camp new inquiry about dialogue.
