– It was a relief to reach the top. I saw the Viessmann Arch few hundred meters before the finish, but then it was not the goal anyway. The last signs of 600 and 400 meters feels so much longer than when going flat. It was a fight against myself to get goals, says Ingvild Flugstad Ostberg told Dagbladet.

Second place in the Tour de Ski was a victory for her. She had not expected that she would win with ground specialist Therese Johaug heels.

Needed more time
