Velta year’s sparklers – TV 2

Rune VETLE can adorn themselves with the title “Rising Star award” after a good season topped with gold medal in Falun. The award organized by the International Ski Federation (FIS) comes in the wake of World ending in Planica. 25-year-old from Lommedalen received in excess of 50 percent of the votes cast.

Nest most votes in the same category got teammate Johann André Forfang. He took gold both individually and in team competition the junior world championships in Kazakhstan. 19-year-old book in addition his first podium in the World Cup in Vikersund.

The Norwegian national team coach Alexander Stöckl won the title “The year coach.” Austrian got nearly 50 percent of the votes cast, while second place went to the Slovenian national team coach Goran Janus. The latter had to settle for 25 percent of the vote. (© NTB)
