STAVANGER (Dagbladet):
Viking coach Kjell Jonevret was very pleased with his own team after win over reigning champions Molde, last night.
– This was really fun. It has been an incredibly turbulent period for Viking in the past and it will be good to get to work with a good feeling, says the charismatic Swede.
Uncertain future
Jonevret is in his final contract year at Viking Stadium and reveals that he does not know if he will be Viking coach next season.
– The club has been through many changes in the past. We have about ten players on outgoing contract, while there have been major changes to the club’s top management.
– We’re a little hesitant towards next season. I do not think so much about it right tonight, but we’ll figure it out at leisure later, says Kjell Jonevret.
Boasts Berisha
Viking striker Veton Berisha in recent seasons is one of those who have faced adversity lately.
Last season saw over a huge goal drought and coach was naturally delighted at the match winner’s behalf.
– Veton has been very unfortunate. He has had some injuries and has not come back properly until now. Last year we had a lot of competition at the top and it was hard for him.
– Veton jobs always fight hard in training and is very professional, said the former Molde coach.
