Ødegaard hailed in Spanish newspapers: – Gave a sense of a great personality – Dagbladet.no

MADRID (Dagbladet): Despite the fact that both tremålsscorer Cristiano Ronaldo and the possible outgoing coach Carlo Ancelotti steal the biggest stories in Spanish newspapers, sacrifices course the major newspapers Martin Ødegaard’s historic debut for Real Madrid last night solid space.

The major sports newspaper Marca shelves Ødegaard debut, and was impressed by the youngster apparently did not seem to affect the environment of the roughly half-hour he got.

– He seemed not to be overcome by either location or nerves, and when he moved around the course was with finesse. He gave me a sense of a great personality, even if it was a necessary condition for this debut that not everyone could play, writes the newspaper, and reward him with a grade of 6.5 on the exchange.

This is the third best on the course, only beaten by Pepe (6.6) and Ronaldo (6.8).

Marcas statistics is that OPTA, where Ødegaard succeed one hundred percent with what he was doing out Santiago Bernabeu.

Also the other major sports newspaper in Spain, AS, was impressed. Certainly not AS close exchange points as competitor Marca, but columnist Juanma Trueba writes that the first touch of what they might have in store was good.

– The debut gave us an opportunity to see what the Norwegian player is about, besides his age: He is class, have confidence and are left-legged. It is an interesting player, just like others who have been promising for Castilla (reserve team, editor.), As Mata Burgui and Pablo Sarabia (who played for Getafe yesterday).
