Matchvinner Grindheim got ironing Rekdal – TV 2

Viking – Vålerenga 3-4:

Vålerenga continues victory march in the Premier League after a breathless 4-3 win away over Viking Sunday evening.

The decision did not fall until four minutes into overtime, when Christian Grindheim wide as the winning goal.

The joy was evident both outside among Vålerenga-players and on the bench, since the Oslo team was very close to mess it all away.

Vålerenga headed namely 3-0 after a rousing 1st half, but the mess away their lead after the break and looked to had to return home without points at all. Viking rolled namely up one chance after the other and were closer to both 4-3 and 5-3 than Vålerenga was a time winner.

Zahid show in 1st half

Vålerenga took early command in Jåtta harbor and took the lead after six minutes of play.

VIF charged ahead and Christian Grindheim found Ghayas Zahid with a lovely pass to an acute angle to the finish. Youngster was alone with Viking keeper Iven Austbø, but set a goal.

Same Zahid was on the move again after 24 minutes, when he snatched the ball from Indridi Sigursson and played wall with Daniel Fredheim Holm. 20-year-old was once again played free hand with Austbø, and once again was Zahid icy and put it in the goal.

Just before the break put tonight’s third for Vålerenga. Fredheim Holm was left passer, but this time it was Deshorn Brown who was the recipient and Jamaicans scored the 3-0 in the nearest corner.

Seconds before the fire got anyway Viking tent aspiration, when Veton Berisha scored the reducer on lovely view.

Strømsgodset won 2-0 against Lillestrom.

The goal was obviously very important for SIDDIS, for it was a completely different Viking team that entered the pitch in the 2nd half.

Viking pushed from start further reduced, and was very close by Suleiman Abdullahi early round.

Scoring was not until 69 minutes when Yann-Erik de Lanlay forced forward and rolled ball to Jón Dadi Bödvarsson. Icelander had plenty of time to aim and sent the ball straight at checkout.

Viking was still hungry for more and continued to put Vålerenga under pressure. The salary came eight minutes from time when Veton Berisha put away the redemptive settlement.

André Danielsen left a corner and Berisha has scored controlled in need.

But as mentioned, it was Vålerenga who could last laugh thanks Grindheim time winner in overtime.

The victory is Vålerengas fourth straight in the Premier League, but Viking went on their first defeat in six games.
