The British star Amir box Kahn says he is ready to challenge the undefeated Floyd Mayweather.
Mayweather won the victory over Manny Pacquiao in giant fight Saturday night, and he thus remains undefeated as a professional boxer. It is a statistic Kahn, twice world champion in the light welterweight, he can break.
– I can see the game come now. I have spoken with Len Ellerbe, his manager, and he said that Floyd is ready when I’m there, so I think they want this fight. Meanwhile, I have talked with Manny team, and they said the same, said Kahn told the BBC after the game.
The Briton has 30 wins in 33 matches so far in his career and meet Chris Algieri in their next game. It runs in New York in June. So he hopes that Mayweather could be the next opponent early in 2016.
– It had been a fantastic fight, a fight boxing fans would talk about. I mean really that I’m on his level, said Kahn.
Mayweather beat Pacquiao on points on Saturday night Norwegian time, in a match that was criticized for being boring.
